It’s so much easier to find a Crossroads vet than it is to find a vet clinic along a single road. This is exactly why we always tell our new clients that they can find us at the crossroads of Westgate and Leesville! If you are coming from the other direction, you can find us just after the crossroads of Fairbanks Dr. and Leesville Road.
Your First Visit to Our Westgate Leesville Crossroads Vet Clinic!
When you get to Leesville Animal Hospital – whether you get there via the Westgate or Fairbanks – you will find us located directly across the parking lot from Thomas Kelly DDS!
Just pull off Leesville road as you get to our sign (don’t worry, you can’t miss it!) and you can turn directly into our parking lot from there. Just please drive slowly in case any clients are traversing the parking lot with their family!
Our main entrance is located directly at the front of the building on the left side as you face us. Keep in mind that our Westgate Leesville Crossroads clinic is an active veterinary clinic, this means that you may well meet other clients and their pets in the lobby. If your pet is experiencing a highly contagious illness or has a very difficult time interacting with strangers and their pets, we recommend giving us a call once you pull up and we will help you get straight into a patient room. This is not only for your pet’s safety but also for the safety of other pets and their families too.
Checking into Our Westgate Leesville Crossroads Clinic
Once you walk into our building, you will come directly to a large front desk. Here, one of our helpful front desk staff will get you checked in for your appointment. This usually means pulling your file or asking you to fill in new patient paperwork, getting a weight on your pet, and escorting you to a patient room.
If you are early for your appointment or if there is a slight delay, we may ask you to take a seat in our lobby for a few moments. Please understand that we try very hard to stay on schedule at our Westgate Leesville crossroads clinic, but emergencies do happen. When one of our clients experiences an emergency situation, we sometimes have to stop what we are doing to stabilize that client. Please know that we would do the same for you and your pet if the situation arose and try to be patient with us, we know that you are busy and do everything we can to keep on track with our patient’s appointment times.
Meeting Your Vet
Once you have been shown to a patient room, you can expect one of our vets to be with you very shortly. Often, we ask one of our trained veterinary technicians to drop in first and get your pet’s basic information for us so that we can focus on the reason for your visit and make the most of our time with our patients.
During your visit with one of our vets, we encourage you to ask any questions that you may have! We are here for you and your pet and we love when pet parents ask questions about how to best take care of their furry family members!
Your appointment will take as long as you need to take care of your pet’s needs. We always suggest writing down anything you may want to address with the vet before you come to your appointment so that you don’t forget anything!
When you check out of our Westgate Leesville Crossroads vet, you just have to step outside your patient room and meet one of our staff members at the front reception! Here your chart will be waiting for you and checkout is a breeze.
