Charitable Events at Leesville
But what about local Raleigh pet charities? How do we support local rescue organizations in our area?
We hold various events to raise funds for donation to local charities, like the Christmas photo sessions we held to benefit the Doberman Rescue of North Carolina. We’ve also had events to raise funds for Wags for Tags, a local organization that helps to match rescue dogs with soldiers in need of support dogs.
Angus the Fire-Dog
Another one of our favorite things to do here at Leesville as a vet in Raleigh is to care for the mascots of our local emergency organizations. Dr. Neligon was even the chief caretaker of the beloved Durham Highway Fire-dog, Angus before his passing.
