Dr. Jackie Cullen is a Raleigh, NC native who is proud to be back serving the community where she grew up. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed her veterinary education at St. Matthew’s University, spending her clinical year at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Cullen’s interest in veterinary medicine began in childhood, when she was responsible for administering daily eye medication for her dog, who had lost an eye. That early experience sparked a lifelong love of animals and a deep appreciation for the bond between pets and their families—she finds great joy and purpose in helping pets live healthier, more comfortable lives through attentive, compassionate care. Her professional interests include dentistry, surgery, and nutrition, and she is committed to delivering high-quality, individualized care to every patient. Outside the clinic, Dr. Cullen enjoys spending time with her husband and their teenage daughter. She shares her home with Fritter, her cat, and a Shih Tzu mix named Maisie. In her free time, she loves traveling, cruising, diving and snorkeling, trying new recipes, and cheering on the Carolina Hurricanes. Dr. Cullen is thrilled to be back in her hometown, especially for hockey season, and looks forward to building lasting relationships with clients and their pets throughout the community.
