I've been taking my puppy there since he joined my life in June 2026. He's not at all anxious when he's there & the staff is always kind, courteous & accommodating.

Leesville Animal Hospital in Raleigh NC is truly the Best in the region compared to most other hospitals. We were researching to find the best hospital in the Raleigh Durham area for our 10 yrs old kitty Tyler, and came across Leesville Animal Hospital. They had the Best reviews, so we made a call to book an appointment for his teeth cleaning and periodontal condition. Anna, who is the receptionist promptly accommodated us for the soonest spot available. She was so patient and kind over the phone that we knew instantly that this was the hospital for our Tyler. On the day of the appointment we were pleasantly greeted by her and the Hospital practice Manager Sarah who was equally accommodating as well as knowledgeable. She asked us the reason for bringing in our kitty, made us feel comfortable and mentioned that Dr Maddison would be seeing Tyler for his consultation. We were impressed with the warm welcome and the hospitality of the two ladies. Dr Maddison came in shortly after with yet another warm welcome greeting and spoke with us to find out a little bit about why we had brought our kitty in. He examined Tyler and with care, compassion and kindness. he explained to us in detail what was really going on with Tyler and what need to be done to take care of his condition. He truly is a God Sent !! He and his team got us the quickest appointment available so we could go ahead and schedule a surgery date. they gave us a break down on what the procedure was, to an itemized list of how much everything would cost, explained to us line by line and we also got a little discount since they were doing a special for the month. My Husband and i are so Grateful to have found this amazing team of Angels on earth. it is the best feeling to know that our Sweet kitty Tyler is going to be in good hands. From the location, to Dr Matthew Maddison, to their staff practice Manager Sarah, the receptionist Anna and the rest of their staffs caring and warm hospitality, and professionalism, we feel blessed to have found this Amazing team at Leesville Animal Hospital. This is our second lab that Leesville has taken care of and we will never go anywhere else. We love taking our pets there

Our pet family members (they are not animals to us) for the past 18 years have ALL been patients at Leesville Animal Hospital. Now my grown daughter and son take their pet family members there. Through the years with all our pet family, the vets and staff have ALWAYS given the most compassionate and best clinical care for routine and extraordinary events. At present, my cat is moving through a diagnosis of lymphoma, and Dr. Bailey gave me additional suggestions at our last visit to help keep him comfortable as we make this difficult journey. It was very appreciated.

We boarded our pup with Leesville Animal Hospital and were so pleased with their caring manner in dealing with 'our baby'. The whole staff is so nice! We would not hesitate to use their services again!

Updated in 2026: My 14-year-old kitty has been a patient at LAH since she was one year old and we first moved to the area. She has always gotten the best care there, and from knowledgeable and compassionate veterinarians and technicians and support staff, ranging from her routine exams and vaccinations to more problem-focused care like dental cleaning, treatment for a skin abscess, and medication to control osteoarthritis pain. And with her treatment always comes plenty of human companion education about the reasons, pros, and cons of everything. Scheduling is a breeze, staff members are warm and responsive, and we never leave with unanswered questions or unaddressed concerns. LAH doctors also worked closely with a local veterinary hospital to coordinate care for my older kitty who was treated several years ago for a much more serious condition, providing me with the support I needed to make the most informed and compassionate decisions about her care. Now, two newer members of the household, 4.5 year old littermates adopted at about 16 weeks old through a TSNR project (minus the R, heh) have been LAH patients for four years. Having started out on the feral kitty path, let's just say their nervous systems are a bit reactive. It's in interactions with these two that the bedside manner of Dr. Bailey and other LAH veterinary professionals really shines- their empathy, calm manner and gentle handling, and ability to read cues and reduce stress and fear in the exam room. Although LAH is geographically close enough for me to consider them an excellent neighborhood veterinary care option, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to someone looking for competent, trustworthy primary care for fur babies, even if it means a slightly longer drive. Original review from about 2018: Our girls have gotten excellent care from Dr. Neligon at their annual visits for about the past five years that we've been clients at LAH. Dr. Neligon is a competent, compassionate professional who is knowledgeable about common conditions and treatments, and she takes time to educate us about what to watch out for and why. Her recommendations take into account both of our girls' unique histories, strengths, and needs, and she's sensitive and skilled at communicating with us, her human clients. As our kitties are entering their senior years, we're confident we'll continue to get good advice and effective treatment plans for anything that might come up.

Dr. Bailey and his entire team are top notch people who truly care about animals. W I would never go to another vet!!
