Frequently Asked Questions

How often does my pet need a rabies vaccine booster?

Rabies vaccine boosters are typically administered every one or three years, depending on the specific vaccine used and your state's regulations. Our veterinarians will advise you on the appropriate booster schedule for your pet.

Can my pet still get sick even if they are vaccinated?

While vaccines are highly effective, they are not 100% guaranteed to prevent disease. Factors such as the strength of the pet's immune system, the specific strain of the virus or bacteria, and the level of exposure can influence whether a vaccinated pet becomes ill.

Can older pets still benefit from vaccinations?

Yes, older pets can still benefit from vaccinations. However, the specific vaccination schedule may need to be adjusted based on their individual health needs.

Can indoor cats still need vaccinations?

Even indoor cats can benefit from vaccinations, as they may be exposed to infectious diseases through contact with other animals, people, or objects.
